Mark Weinberg advises clients regarding secured transactions, complex business disputes, tax and financing matters. When counseling clients, he combines nearly forty years of legal experience with his knowledge gained as a licensed Certified Public Accountant and the founder of several successful real estate, financial and legal businesses. Mr. Weinberg also presently serves as the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Versant Funding LLC, a factoring company.
Before law school, Mr. Weinberg, practiced accounting with the international public accounting firm of Peat Marwick. Upon graduation from law school, he joined the tax department of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton and Garrison.
He was a co-founder of a privately-held commercial real estate lender, and a law firm specializing in real estate and litigation, as well as another factoring business, all of which were sold in 2005/2006. Mr. Weinberg collaborated on and marketed the #1 best selling book of 1981, The Simple Solution to Rubik’s Cube, with over 7,000,000 copies in print. He is also the author of a book published by Que Corporation on money management and the computer titled, Using Managing Your Money.
